Hi Everyone! Please advise -if we ship parcels through 3PL under their contracts with the carriers, how our company can be protected from violation of 3PL , who didn't declare DG to the carriers ( for example, they shipped DG by the postal operator, who prohibits carriage of DG, but is cheaper than courier service, which permits carriage of DG, but is more expensive). As I understood, transport authority will fine the shipper, not the carrier (as carrier can't open and check all the goods, at least postal operators), and the shipper on shipping label is our company-manufacturer. So, it means, transport authority will fine not the carrier, but us anyway, and we'll need to prove in the court, that we declared to 3PL, that these goods were DG and hi violated law when provided prohibited goods to the carrier, not we? Or I'm not correct, or there is some more simple option? Thank you!
