I need an expert for this one, someone who has insider knowledge/experience about customs preferably. I looked up how air cargo works, and it turns out there are containers about the size of very small cars that the cargo goes into. Now my logic is that, since shipping containers are much larger than that, my package is less likely to be checked by customs if I have it shipped by sea. You would think because of the sheer volume that cargo ships carry, this would be self-evident. But what really matters is the size of the container. Am I right in this? I'm ready to be schooled by an expert on this topic.
