I work for a brand that imports products from Asia to the USA (and pays the associated duties), then fulfills both DTC and wholesale/B2B orders from a US-based warehouse.

Annually, I re-export about 10% of our products through these orders, both to individuals and businesses around the world. I realize that I could reclaim a significant amount of duties paid if the company could file duty drawbacks on all of these shipments - this might ultimately be enough to allow me to hire another team member (I could desperately use the extra manpower)

Anyone know if duty drawbacks are possible/feasible for a plethora of small shipments, or is it only realistic for large exports? Are there associated costs with filing a drawback that would negate the benefits? Can I batch drawback claims on a monthly or quarterly basis? Is this a process we could execute in-house or would we have to pay a broker to file each individual drawback on our behalf?

Thanks for any info!!
