Fact is: In our line of work, we produce an ungodly amount of plastic waste. I learned while being responsible for cleaning up round about 110,000 m² of Industrial space on a daily basis. In terms of transport safety, I love the stretch wrap, but the waste of LLD PE is an absolute horror. We produce mountains of plastic waste with it each and every day. This contributes to the general amount of waste produced in industrial environments and especially in our line of work. Sadly, a lot of plastic waste, produced in industrial environments, tracks right back to our line of work. The question at hand that comes up in my mind is: Couldn't packaging paper do the job way more sufficiently and sustainable while beeing fully recyclable. Personally I think it can, and given the biodegradable additives that are available today there is an obvious long term necessity to make use of those. I'd like to your Input on this.
