How to get a 55 gallon steel drum of honey from Romania to the UK?

Hi i'm trying to find the most economical way to transport some honey to the UK, last year, before covid and brexit. I had quotes for around £180. but now i can only find quotes for around £500. I'm new to arranging haulage and I was wondering if anyone on here can offer any advice or point me in the right direction. maybe this is the wrong place to ask. but thank you for any help.
