Hello, I recently read about parcel auditing and it seems like a very interesting problem for e-commerce and logistics companies. I'm curious to hear this from 3PLs of different sizes here. There are several types of surcharges that these carriers charge, and often it is unclear if a charge applies or not. I've seen that FedEx also often changes they way they calculate a charge at any point throughout the year. I assume that this is the case with many other carriers too.
How much attention do you pay to your parcel costs spend and how do you audit it right now? Is it a challenge for you, or on the flip side, do you not care that much about it at all in the first place?
