I come from the IT world and one thing always stands out to me, its how little information is available about most WMS systems. If I am interviewing at a company I always try to find out what WMS they are using and at least spend a few hours on it but I can never find any solid information.
I am sure there is some user guides, best practice or technotes on the official sites but you need to prove you own the software to even look. You cant even find blogs or youtube videos about day to day operations. They have tons of sales type information but no user/ administrator stuff
I cant think of another application space like this. Think of the smallest niche software and you will find a dozen blogs and probably a subreddit for it. The only one I have seen that is different is Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Does anyone have any hints or is this just how WMS software is for some reason?
