I've been looking for a new job now for quite some time, despite working in a manufacturing plant, which I despise about as much as I despised working for the postal service. I'm currently going for my AAS in Distribution Management/Global logistics technology and I keep getting stuck with the exact same jobs every time in a warehouse. They can have different titles, but they all just have me moving shit back and forth for hours a day, and then I go home and do it all again until basically Sundays. I'm very tech savvy and interested in learning more about the techy side of the supply chain, but no matter how much I teach myself about a program, workplaces want work experience with these programs. The place doesn't even have to pay me all that much I just want the experience and to be shown how they use these programs in the company so I can have a chance to learn with the company and work my way up. None of them will hire me to begin with, so how the fuck do they expect me to gain experience with these programs without workplaces hiring me to start with. What are good jobs, preferably work at home or desk jobs, that I could apply for with some experience, but no degree? I have the drive, but I'm not granted the opportunity to express to employers how much I want to learn what a company does with these programs and how they use them. When I do tell them I'm incredibly interested in learning this stuff, they just automatically take it as me having no experience, and moving on. Sorry if some of this post sounds a bit stupid or doesn't make a lot of sense, I'm typing this on the one 10 minute break we get in this place.
