THE AVERAGE HAS COME Q1! IT'S TIME TO PARTY!

just wanted to share shed some light in this sub about the industry.

where i started -

at 1/5 big brokers , worked there for 5 years

my buddies and i opened a basement broker , got a llc , got a mc and opened our company , 3 guys

we opened 2 years ago from Dec 1 , 2019

sales in 2020 were good , averaged about $20,0000 in profit per day

issue became cash flow, we had the customers, we had enough freight to fill every truck in Los Angeles , but we weren't able to keep up with our customers payments and carrier payments

here comes the rich buddy to save the day - good thing 1/3 of us grew up rich - lets call him mason. Mason has a uncle who sold a big company to coca cola and now is a multi multi millionaire who invests in random ass shit and likes to spend money. we showed him what we did, taught him what we do, showed him our earnings, and ultimately pitched a business plan.

we were in need of a 2 million dollar loan. we had 1 customer alone who owed us a million dollars in cash. (large large big box retailer who will pay out 500,000 right on the 60th day of their terms) - long story short, he gave it to us.

june of 2020 he wrote us a 2 million dollar check, in return ... he gets 5% of all our earnings, that is it , so our 33.3 % of the revenue now became 31.7% of revenue to me.... no biggie

from there on we went all out , hired 3 operations girls who came from big brokers and who are very good, and they each get $150K+ a year - 1 specializes in quoting , 1 specializes in tracking , and the 3rd handles invoicing --- us 3 , we just sell , all day long

from july 2020-right now we have been finally hit our average at end of Q1 at $1,000,000 a month in just profit. not revenue - profit. lets just say our lives have changed.

the amount of business we have brought on, has caused us to run out of cash flow again - but we are contemplating getting another loan and taking on more business, or just servicing what we currently run as it still is a lot.

decided to stop selling and just maintaining our business and profits now

at the end of april i wrote him a 1 million dollar check + his change. then got an extra 2 million from our angel investor, in return - he said "pay me when you make it big"

our average margin per load is 31% - we mainly manage reefer freight for high end customers in the CPG industry, but have some packaging, paper, plastics, companies as well.

figured i could share my story with you all and maybe bring some inspiration, rather this subreddit takes this job as a joke - if you know how to do it, and do it right....... theres a plethora of money for everyone to share

since we are now averaging about 1,000,000 a month in profit , paying carriers about 3.2-3.3 million a month. with a million dollars in profit a month, we pay our 3 girls about 500k total per year, their wages come out to right around 40,000 a month. , throw the investor a chump change of 100 k a month also , the rest..... all ours , around 850 k or so

in march we each took home roughly 262 k pre tax after all our costs in total

once we the one we like, will take pictures to share our enjoyment of making money by ripping off truckers and working our asses off day in day out 7 days a week

after this, everything going to savings. looking to stack up as much savings as i can to move out to lido key and beach bum - just waiting till some big broker buys us out ;)
