I'm building the startup in one of the US accelerators and would truly appreciate the thought of the community about our idea.

We are building the platform to let US-based transport companies hire and manage remote logistics teams. The contractors are professionals from the industry currently on maternity leave. Usually 6-8 years in top-tier forwarders, CW1 operators, etc.

So if I may, the questions to validate are:

  1. If you are owning the forwarding company, would you consider hiring a remote employee(from overseas)?
  2. What tasks would you potentially outsource (CW1 data bulk update is one of a kind), maybe anything else
  3. Would you consider the remote employees for the full chain of operations (managing booking from China to the US)?
  4. The cost would for sure be a benefit, but are there any other challenges remote setup might solve for you (like access to more talents, less time to hire, etc.)
