I made a post previously about being stuck in a dead end job and wanting to find a remote one. A large 3PL has a remote job opening for a Pricing Coordinator. While I've not done pricing directly, the description doesn't seem to complicated ( Manage, complete, and respond to daily pricing requests; Ensure compliance with operational policies prior to pricing business; keep thorough notes on activity; report back to management monthly; develop rapport with stakeholder to ensure up to date pricing; collaborate with managers and peers) . Looks mostly like you need to be quick and have attention to detail.
If I got the job it would be at least a $5 pay increase and more benefits.
So pricing coordinators, how has been your experience with the role? Do you think it is one that can be done remotely? Is this an on call type of job (or nights/weekends)? Any advice you can give me for it?
